Premier League: Ralf Rangnick Signals Edison Cavani Can Get a Chance to Taste the Field in Manchester United Vs Norwich Match

 Manchester United interim manager , Ralf Rangnick said that there is a chance for Edinson Cavani to be involved in the Premier League match on Saturday (11/12/2021) against Norwich City.

The Uruguay international has been sidelined since early November with a tendon problem. The striker has missed the team's last seven games in all competitions.

However, Rangnick revealed that the experienced striker has improved in recent days. He has recovered from injury and could be involved in the clash with the Canaries at Carrow Road.

"We'll have to wait and see. He trained with the team yesterday and a few days before, so we'll have to wait and see how he feels today. If he's OK, Edinson Cavani is an option up front," Rangnick told MUTV .

The 34-year-old's contract expires at Old Trafford in June. He has scored one goal in eight appearances for the 20-times English champions during the 2021-2022 season.

There have been rumors that French defender Raphael Varane could also be involved in Manchester United's match against Norwich, but Rangnick has denied this. The former Real Madrid player is still struggling with injuries.

Ralf Rangnick was reportedly stolen in the balance of 100 million pounds or equivalent to Rp. 1.9 trillion in the January 2021 transfer market.

Ralf Rangnick only once accompanied the Manchester United squad, which led to a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace. However, he reportedly already has an idea which players are not included in his plans ahead of the January 2022 transfer window.
